I am amazed to watch some shelters I know continue to post "cute" pictures of the next new litter with no comment on spay and neuter when the shelter in question cannot even handle the dog or cat poulation they have on hand. Having worked in a shelter I was also amazed at the number of young mothers that came in with a baby barely able to focus it eyes but somehow the mother thought it needed a dog. Nope the mother needed a dog and showed a complete disregard for the baby's safety no doubt spured on by all the incredible cuteness pictures! Or the resuce groups that scour the metroplex for "cuteness" then adopt them at local events while the old dogs in the shelter languish and the rescue feeds it ego about all the good they are doing. No they are only encouraging more cutness and animals that cannot be adopted down the road.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-670689488430551083.post-45160662468895245932012-12-05T12:50:21.848-08:002012-12-05T12:50:21.848-08:00Yup!
